It was another memorable BLUES ON THE RIDEAU night at THE COVE INN, WESTPORT on March 19 with The JOHN CAMPBELLJOHN BAND.

JCJ and his band made the 17 hour drive from Nova Scotia to Westport to play a  special St. Patrick¹s Day Show March 19th at The Cove and everyone attending  was really glad they did! We were treated to some of the best slide guitar blues this side of the Mississippi. Campbelljohn (named Best Guitarist Of The Year several years running by Real Blues Magazine) on vocals, slide, dobro and pedal steel guitar backed by Neil Robertson on drums and Andrew Lambert on bass played great rockin¹ blues (interspersed with a little reggae, Celtic and country) all night long. "Autobahn John" is better know in Europe where he tours regularly than in his own country. We were lucky to have him here - he doesn¹t get to Upper Canada that often. Watch for a video of the eveningcoming soon.
