John Campbelljohn treats
the blues as hard work and this work ethic can be seen in his prolific
songwriting and heard in his music. ”Good To Go” – his latest release, makes
the perfect evolutionary statement from his last album, named Weight Of The
World 2007’s “Blues Recording of the Year”. “Good to Go” continues to advance
Campbelljohn’s inventive approach to the blues, blending it with rock, Celtic
and reggae twists and adding such innovations as his skilled use of pedal steel
guitar to the mix of 12 originals. The caliber of his songwriting – drawing
attention from television and movie interests (including Sony Pictures
Television) as well as his legion of fans – reflects a deep-rooted passion for
