Michael plays in his own unique style which is a combination of Boogie Woogie, RnR, Swing, Blues and a touch of Jazz. He is self taught, learning to play Piano by listening to Jerry Lee Lewis Recordings. He moved over to Hammond B3 Organ and played Classic RnB for many years. Eventually he returned to the Piano which is his first love.

From his many years of playing Hammond B3 Organ, Michael developed the skill of playing Keyboard Bass. It's a very unique sound he calls "B3 Piano". The result is seamless. He says he prefers to perform using Keyboard Bass due to the freedom it allows. Most of the time he performs with his MICHAEL KEYS & COMPANY Trio which is Drums, Guitar and himself on Vocals, Keyboard Bass and Electric Piano. It's a great sound and very full. He'll add a Sax to the unit if the budget allows.

According to Michael, there are three distinct Keyboards and he plays them all....Hammond B3 Organ, Acoustic Piano and Electronic Keyboard.

Most of Michael's Performances are on the Electronic Keyboard playing in his unique "B3 Piano" style.

For more information, check out his website. Michael is available Solo, Duo, Trio or Quartet for both Private and Public Engagements.

And... for a lot of fun... Michael does a great Piano Bar theme Party. It's like Live Karaoke with Michael at the Piano and the Party Guests singing along... great idea for a Party! He sings and plays over 600 Songs and is adding more every day.
