It's been 10 years since the band won their last Juno - "Blues Recording Of The Year" for Blues Weather; and Fathead now return to the winner's circle with their 2nd Juno Award on the strength of Building Full Of Blues, (Electro-Fi Records). Highlights abound on the eclectic "Building" that typifies all things Fathead: solid grooves, soul drenched melodies, ace musicianship, and compelling true-to-life songwriting.

Here are the facts:

Building Full Of Blues (Electro-Fi 3402)

Al Lerman - harp, tenor sax, vocals
                     Darren Poole - guitar, vocals
                    Omar Tunnoch - bass, vocals
                    Bucky Berger - drums, percussion

Three outstanding tracks from Building Full Of Blues:

Track One - "Jelly Fish Blues" (Tunnoch-Lerman) 3:46
- a playful "go with the flow" tune that features trademark Fathead groove changes as John  Mays relates  "...this jellyfish is happy all the time"

Track Three - "What About Me?" (Tunnoch) 3:29
- a Mays and guest Shakura S'Aida duet on a hook laden old school R&B number with a truly soothing solo by Darren Poole layering slide over Omar Tunnoch's fretless bass

Track Twelve - "Building Full Of Blues" (Tunnoch) 5:17
- a chugging acoustic guitar intro kicks off the title track - a slum landlord lament that ends as a tale of a homeowner's misery; powered by some assertive fat toned harp from Al Lerman
