For 2008/09 the Dinner & Show ticket is increasing slightly to $55 pp (taxes and donation to charity included) for next year to offset higher costs (food, bands, travel, sound, etc). First increase in 3 years.

NEW TICKET RESERVATION POLICY

Over the past couple of years we have had some problems with people who reserved tickets for the Show cancelling at the last minute or just not showing up. That simply isn’t fair to those who were on the Waiting List and wanted to come. Nor is it fair to The Cove (food wasted), Choose The Blues Productions (lost revenue) or the local charity (less raised for them). Until now there has been no penalty or consequence for not honouring a reservation. This year that will change. As with virtually every other entertainment event out there (Senators games, concerts and theatre shows, etc) when you reserve your ticket you pay. If something comes up that you can’t make the event then it’s up to you to sell or give the ticket away.

For 2008/09 you will need to give your credit card number when you reserve your tickets and the card will be processed. If you need to cancel up to 3 weeks prior to the Show then payment will be refunded (credit card credited) without penalty. If something comes up within 3 weeks of the Show and you are unable to sell your ticket then The Cove will do its best to find a buyer (if the Show is Sold Out) by contacting those on the Waiting List. If unsuccessful however the ticket will not be refunded.

For regulars booking multiple Shows: Tell The Cove which Shows you want to reserve seats for. You will need to pay in advance for the FIRST Show you book for the season. For successive Shows you will need to leave your credit card number and payment for the Show will be processed on the first of each month. Same rules apply as above re: canceling reservations.

Sound fair? We think so.

There will be printed tickets for all Shows this year that will be mailed out if the reservation is made by phone or given out if in person.

The Cove Inn www.coveinn.com is a 45 minute drive from Kingston, 1:15 from Ottawa. Tickets are only $55 pp which includes a delicious full buffet dinner, the Show, all taxes & donation to charity.

Buffet starts at 7 pm, Show at 8:30.

Advance reservations required. Call THE COVE (613) 273-3636 or 1-888-268-3466 Book now to assure you get seats! These Shows sell out well in advance. 30 of the 120 available seats are already booked for every Show next year!

Now that the 2007/08 Season is over we once again send out a big THANK YOU to all the artists for bringing us such wonderful music, the great management and staff at The Cove for their tasty food, service and hospitality, Tim & Mark from Little Chicago Studios.com for the superb sound and of course the wonderful audiences that have supported Blues On The Rideau over the past year. Have a great summer and see you next fall!
