Blue Mark Music is pleased to announce its debut release, the Hardline Blues Band's "Nowhere Left to Run" now being serviced to some 300 radio stations, with the Edmonton band getting airplay from Italy to Vancouver Island and all points in between.

That includes being added to the At The Crossroads syndicated network show, now featured on 20 stations across B.C. Cut in Edmonton over a six-month period, the 10-track CD is the culmination of the band's three-year rise to prominence in the western Canadian city, and pulls influences from a variety of classic artists, like Albert King and Son Seals.

"We're both surprised and gratified that so many stations seem inclined to give us a spin," said frontman and guitarist Jeremy Loome. "Hopefully, the exposure will turn more Canadians onto the blues and get them out to the clubs on the weekends to shake their groove things."

Blue Mark was formed in 2007 to help western Canadian roots, blues and Americana acts into the recording market. It is currently working with two other Alberta acts for potential release.

The Hardline Blues Band, a seven-piece, horn-and-guitar combo, was formed in 2006 and was immediately chosen as the house band at the venerable Blues on Whyte nightclub, where it played more than 26 shows over the course of a year. The booker for the Edmonton Blues Society, Berne Kovalevski, has declared the band "doubtless some of the best blues musicians in Canada."

Samples of the CD and the band's live performances can be heard at its website www.hardlineblues.com
